It gives me great pleasure, as I assume the position of Dean of the College of Arts at the University of Tikrit, to address you through our website to acknowledge and appreciate the blessed and sincere efforts you exert in promoting scientific, academic, and educational communication, aimed at achieving prosperity, advancement, and progress in service of our nation, our university, and our esteemed college. I encourage you to embrace teamwork, adopt sincerity as a guiding principle in your work, and prioritize public interest over personal interest. This approach enables us to rebuild Iraq anew. From this standpoint, let us all reject division and adhere to the principle of working as a united team to overcome difficulties, obstacles, and challenges.

Every morning that you advance toward your university brings new hope to Iraq, shining in your eyes as you enter your classrooms with a spirit full of ambition and the desire to acquire knowledge in the arts and sciences and achieve the accomplishments you aspire to. You should reflect on what you have achieved in past years and consider what you can achieve this year and in the years ahead. Rest assured that every effort you make at this stage of your life will serve as a foundation for further successes, building both your future and that of your country, which relies on you for progress, development, and stability, as you are the elite shaping the future.

Today, the responsibility of building the future rests upon you, encompassing urban, economic, social, and cultural development, and the advancement of higher education and scientific research through diligent work. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s strategy will continue to be defined and implemented across all its axes and details. Overall, it is a developmental strategy in both quality and quantity, and its success undoubtedly depends on your belief in it and your active engagement. I am confident that you understand the demanding yet credible task ahead of us: Iraq must once again embrace modernization, advancement, and alignment with global developments in our current era.
