Department of Arabic Language
The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts – Tikrit University was established in 2006, concurrently with the founding of the College, serving as its initial cornerstone. The Department is considered one of the fundamental pillars of the College, given its vital role in preserving the Arabic language and its literature, as well as in preparing specialized scientific competencies.

The Department of Arabic Language aspires to excellence and leadership in its academic field through:

Raising the academic level of faculty members by encouraging them to write research papers, participate in scientific conferences, and attend training courses.

Establishing a specialized advisory center to provide academic support for research topics, Master’s theses, and doctoral dissertations.

Launching a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to publishing research in the field of Arabic language and literature, in order to strengthen academic publishing and motivate researchers.
