Department of History
The Department of History was established in 2006, concurrently with the founding of the College. Since its inception, the Department has strived to become one of the leading academic centers in the field of historical studies in Iraq. It focuses on preparing distinguished academic staff capable of historical analysis and knowledge production through modern educational programs, rigorous scientific research, and interactive teaching methodologies that utilize digital technologies, enhancing students’ abilities in critical understanding and scientific interpretation of history
To achieve leadership among History Departments in Iraqi universities by adopting advanced academic programs that integrate authenticity with modernity, rely on rigorous scientific research, and employ modern teaching methods, with the aim of graduating a generation of distinguished researchers capable of playing an active role in societal development and fostering enlightened historical awareness
