The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the Faculty of Arts consists of a group of faculty members, one for each academic level, who communicate with students and provide them with individual and group psychological counseling and educational guidance. The unit develops an annual plan that includes workshops, seminars, visits, and supervision of various student activities.

The aim is to provide appropriate mechanisms for delivering psychological support, guidance, and educational direction to college students, and to work on developing their skills and abilities.

1. Communicating with students, listening to their academic problems and the difficulties they face, and exploring ways to resolve them.

   Clarifying students' rights and responsibilities, emphasizing the importance of respecting the university campus, and the student's relationship with professors, peers, and faculty members.

   Assisting students in addressing their psychological, social, and behavioral challenges effectively.

   Monitoring students experiencing academic difficulties, identifying the underlying causes, and finding appropriate solutions.

   Developing students' personal skills and abilities to achieve optimal results.

   Involving students in the unit's activities and events and encouraging their participation in volunteer work.

   Organizing various awareness seminars and workshops.

2. Personal Counseling: Providing psychological and emotional support to students and helping them cope with personal and academic challenges.

3. Family Communication: Facilitating communication between the school/college and families to ensure appropriate support for students.

4. Training and Development: Providing training courses for teachers and staff to enhance their skills in educational counseling.

5. Collaboration with Other Entities: Collaborating with government agencies, schools, and other institutions to provide integrated and comprehensive services.
